ROH Wrestling Results (8/23/21): Demonic Flamita vs. Rey Horus

No Disqualification: Demonic Flamita vs. Rey Horus

Before the bout, Demonic Flamita vows to prove that he’s the best of the former MexiSquad group, and he intends to “bury” Horus in the process. Horus states that he will prove once and for all that he’s better than Flamita in the ring.

The former friends take the fight to each other with some quick strikes right away. Horus gets an early two count with a sunset flip. Flamita catches Horus with a kick and gets a chair. He continues to punish Horus by throwing him into the barricade. Flamita slams Horus face-first onto a chair and blasts him with a superkick.

He continues to control the bout and suplexes Horus for a two count. Flamita keeps grounding Horus, but he rallies with some forearms. “Demonic” squashes the rally with an Irish whip that sends Horus crashing face-first into a chair. Horus throws a chair at Flamita and plants him with a tornado DDT on the floor.

He sends Flamita head-first into the steel ring post and hits him with a chair. Horus gets a two count with a diving crossbody and suplexes Flamita into the corner. The two men trade strikes, and Flamita rocks Horus with a backbreaker. Flamita catches Horus with a standing Spanish fly, but Horus fires back with a tornado DDT. They repeat the sequence, and it leaves both men down.

The rivals battle on the apron by exchanging chops. Flamita sends Horus crashing through a table with a Spanish fly off the top rope. Flamita sends Horus back into the ring and gets a two count. He hits a corkscrew splash for the win.

Winner: Demonic Flamita

After the match, Flamita calls out ROH World Champion Bandido.
