Report: Ruby Soho Expected To Sign With AEW

All Elite Wrestling continues to load up its roster.

Ruby Soho, formerly known as WWE Superstar Ruby Riott, is reportedly expected to sign with the company.

Fightful Select first reported the news. The report notes that Soho’s 90-day no-compete clause will expire before AEW’s All Out pay-per-view on September 5. Additionally, Fightful Select states that promoters were told Soho wasn’t taking bookings as early as a month ago. The report makes it clear that AEW has not directly confirmed the news yet, and if it’s true, it’s unclear how Soho will be brought into the company.

WWE released Riott on June 2 among several other names. Malakai Black, formerly known as Aleister Black, was also let go during this round of cuts, but a clerical error allowed him to make his debut earlier than expected because he didn’t have the full 90-day no-compete clause.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
