Roderick Strong Earns Undisputed Win Over Bobby Fish
Roderick Strong picked up a major win over a former teammate this week on WWE NXT.
On Tuesday, Strong faced Bobby Fish in a heated singles match. The former Undisputed Era stablemates have been at odds in recent weeks, has Fish has been fighting alongside Kushida against Strong’s new stable, Diamond Mine. When the two stars finally clashed in the ring, they hoped to settle the score.
They did just that, as Strong earned the decisive victory while the rest of Diamond Mine watched on. Fish fought valiantly, and he had clearly knocked off any of the ring rust that had been a factor in some of his recent matches. Still, Strong was just too much for him, as “The Messiah of the Backbreaker” pinned him to pick up an undisputed victory.

Trey Baxter Beats Joe Gacy In NXT Breakout Tournament
The NXT Breakout Tournament continued on Tuesday night, as Joe Gacy faced Trey Baxter in a first-round match. The clash of styles between the two men was quickly apparent, as Gacy’s strength advantage countered Baxter’s quickness. Gacy controlled the bout for a few minutes, but Baxter rallied with a flurry of offense. Ultimately, Baxter won the bout with a 450 stomp.

In the semi-finals, Baxter will face Odyssey Jones. Carmelo Hayes vs. Duke Hudson is the other semi-final bout.
