The Latest Reported Plans For Becky Lynch’s Return To WWE TV

WWE fans might have to wait a while before “The Man” comes around, as Becky Lynch reportedly isn’t expected to return at the SummerSlam pay-per-view as most fans thought she would.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that “it does not appear” that Lynch is part of the plans for the show.

It’s important to note that plans can always change, but Johnson elaborates that at the past week’s TV tapings, the belief has been that Lynch will return in the fall. October was “openly discussed” as a potential timeframe.

Lynch has been the subject of rumors for months, dating back as far as WWE Royal Rumble, as fans continue to speculate when the former RAW Women’s Champion will come back. It had been believed that she would make an appearance at WWE WrestleMania 37, but the show came and went with no sighting of “The Man.” Lynch publicly confirmed her presence at WWE Money in the Bank, the first pay-per-view with live fans since WrestleMania, but she didn’t appear on the show.

In recent weeks, fans have been chanting Lynch’s name, both at televised events and house shows, which is a a clear sign that the WWE Universe wants her to come back. But based on this latest report, it might be some time before Lynch is back on WWE TV.
