Kayla Braxton: ‘I’ve Gotten Into My Groove’, It’s Been Helpful Seeing The Faith People Have Put In Me

Kayla Braxton recently appeared on Sam Roberts’ Notsam Wrestling podcast, where she discussed various topics, including the return of live fans to WWE events, the on-screen road to WWE SummerSlam, and much more. During the episode, Braxton also touched on her personality as a host, and how she’s been able to hone that over the course of her career. First, Braxton started off by talking about her time hosting WWE’s The Bump and how she was initially nervous to do so.

“I remember I was told I was going to do Talking Smack, and hosting kickoff panels,” Braxton said. “And [Michael] Cole was so just like ‘Yeah, you got this!,’ he just had so many confidence and faith, so it just made me feel a lot more at ease.”

Of course, Braxton is human, so she isn’t immune to nerves. She noted that she still gets nervous doing certain things, like hosting major Kickoff shows or the WWE Draft. However, Braxton feels like she’s now developed a groove and established her own personality, and the confidence that the WWE Universe and locker room have put in her have also helped her overcome any major nervousness.

“Kickoff shows…it’s nerve-wracking, but I think because I’ve seen the faith people put into me over the last several months, and I’ve gotten into my groove, and I’ve developed a personality that people know what they’re going to get when they see me, to the point where I feel like I get to show more of my personality backstage interviews, and not just be, I’m not saying stuff, but you know.”
