Kenny Omega Pins ‘Hangman’ Page, Prevents Him From Challenging For AEW World Title

This week’s special “Fight For The Fallen” episode of AEW Dynamite opened with a huge elimination 10-Man tag team match that featured some of the biggest stars in All Elite Wrestling. When it all was said and done, The Elite stood tall, as the group took down “Hangman” Adam Page at the end of it the match. As a result of this loss, Page and the Dark Order will be unable to challenge for the AEW World Championship and the AEW World Tag Team Championship, respectively.

The bout began with utter chaos, as Page and Karl Anderson went at it before the bout quickly broke down into a wild brawl. The first man eliminated was Alex Reynolds, as he was taken down with a schoolboy pin by Karl Anderson. Afterwards, Anderson himself was promptly taken out with an impactful Fatality from Evil Uno & Stu Grayson.

With a few men already eliminated, it was Doc Gallows and Stu Grayson who were up next, as Gallows and Grayson brawled out in the crowd. After Grayson hit a huge dive onto Gallows from a barricade, the referee counted both of them out, resulting in a double  elimination. This development was a bit unusual, as AEW rarely utilizes countouts on Dynamite.

Evil Uno was eliminated next, as Kenny Omega quickly hit him with a One-Winged Angel to take him out of the match. John Silver was next, as the Young Bucks hit the BTE Trigger on the fan-favorite star. In the end, Hangman Page tried to battle Omega and the Young Bucks by himself. “Hangman” fought valiantly, but he lost after Omega hit him with the  One-Winged Angel.
