WWE is reportedly making more cuts, just in time for its Q2 financial earnings conference call on July 29.
First on Fightful Select and later on Fightful’s main site, Sean Ross Sapp reports that WWE made more budget cuts with several layoffs in multiple departments related to consumer products.
Ross Sapp also wrote that “we’ve not been told” whether any of these cuts wiany talent cuts are expected during these layoffs.”
The Fightful Select report states that the layoffs included the “marketing, shop areas, and other consumer products.” Ross Sapp writes that some sources Fightful has spoken to who have been released recently were told that there’s a “good chance” they could return to the company.
