This morning the Hillsborough County School Board announced that they had voted unanimously to add WWE Superstar Titus O’Neil‘s Thaddeus M. Bullard Academy to Sligh Middle Magnet School. An honor bestowed upon O’Neil in recognition of his service to the Hillsborough County Public School System.
Titus O’Neil has been involved with the Sligh Middle Magnet School since 2016, and he has continued to do a tremendous amount of work for the community in Florida.

This morning, O’Neil called this recognition the highest and most respected honor that he could ever receive:
“I was once labeled a ‘bad’ kid and told I would be dead or in jail by the time I was 16,” said O’Neil. “This is the highest and most respected honor that I could ever receive considering there was never any expectation of me ever finding much success in my life. Hopefully this will prove to any student who comes from an underserved community that anything is possible when you believe.”
Titus O’Neil also took to social media following the announcement to thank the Hillsborough County School Board for the honor:

During this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, Titus O’Neil was also given The Warrior Award, a clear recognition of the amount of humanitarian work he has done in his home of Tampa Bay, Florida.
