Matt Cardona looks to face two people from his past in a Mixed Tag Team Match at Slammiversary 2021 and has the option of choosing his tag team partner.
Matt Cardona has been lobbying for a match against Brian Myers for weeks. On the last episode of IMPACT on AXS before Slammiversary, Cardona had Brian Myers cornered when suddenly, he was attacked from behind by Tenille Dashwood, his ex-girlfriend. later in the evening, Scott D’Amore would tell Cardona that he is granting him a mixed tag match against both of his betrayers and advise him to find a partner of his choice before saying that Slammiversary would be a “Hot Mess.”
Matt Cardona’s fiance is Chelsea Green and Chelsea is currently free of her 90-day no-compete clause after being released by WWE earlier this year. Matt Cardona would remark on Twitter that this is perfect timing.
