Full Spoilers For MLW Battle Riot III With Reaction Notes

MLW Battle Riot III went down in front of a sold-out crowd Saturday evening in Philadelphia at the infamous 2300 Arena and the event bolstered a whopping 14 matches on the card which included the Battle Riot itself. Full spoilers of the results are below (h/t to PWInsider for the results listing.)

  • Rustin Grundy defeated Anthony Catena.
  • Delmi Exo defeated Brittany Blake.
  • Alex Kane defeated Budd Heavy.
  • Gino Medina defeated KC Navarro.
  • Marshall & Ross Von Erich defeated Team Filthy in a Bunkhouse Brawl.
  • Calvin Tankman defeated Lee Moriarty.
  • King Muertes defeated Richard Holliday to win the Caribbean Championship.
  • MLW National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone defeated Tom Lawlor to retain his title.
  • Willow Nightingale defeated Ashley Vox
  • Davey Richards defeated TJP.
  • Rivera and Slice Boogie defeated Injustice.
  • Aramis defeated Arez.
  • MLW Champion Jacob Fatu defeated Matt Cross to retain the title.
  • MLW National Openweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone won Battle Riot III, last eliminating Mads Kruege.

There were some surprise appearances in the Battle Riot match as well which included “Outlandish” Zicky Dice and Philadelphia’s own, The Blue Meanie. In addition to that, Savio Vega came out as himself and later on as Kwang. Tom Lawlor also did the same as he later came out as LA Park during the match.

In addition to that, Konnan led LAX into MLW to confront Injustice. The group consisted of Danny Limelight, Slice Boogie & Rivera.

Some major pops for the evening came courtesy of Hammerstone who was major over with the crowd, Davey Richards got a great welcome back to wrestling from the Philly crowd, the surprise appearances of Dice and Meanie were also big. The Alex Kane and Budd Heavy bout really roped in the crowd as the debuting Kane looked strong against Heavy, who got a great reaction. The  Willow Nightingale & Ashley Vox match, Calvin Tankman vs. Lee Moriarty and Davey Richards vs. TJP also were highly praised for the efforts put forth in the squared circle. Fatu and Cross put on a great back and forth World Championship match as well and Arais vs. Arez also received some big-time reactions.

As previously promoted, Cesar Duran was also on hand for the event, revealing further plans behind Azteca Underground and the 2300 crowd reacted to him greatly as he showed seamless ability in firing up the crowd. This was all the more further when Injustice expressed their interest in challenging for The World Tag Team Titles. Tom Lawlor and Kit Osborne got some good when when they took a 76ers/Ben Simmons dig at the Philly faithful.
