Report: Jeff Hardy’s New WWE Contract Lasts Until At Least Late 2022

It seems like Jeff Hardy is locked into his WWE contract.

Fightful Select‘s Sean Ross Sapp reports that Hardy’s contract has been somehow modified, as it now extends until at least the end of 2022. He notes that WWE can add injury time to this contract, like the way the company prolonged his contract before he re-signed with WWE in 2020.

“Throughout the year, WWE made alterations and changes on several contracts, and Jeff Hardy’s deal was either restructured, re-signed or extended,” wrote Ross Sapp. “He spoke openly about wanting ‘No More Words’ as a part of the deal, which we’re told lasts until the end of 2022, or the beginning of 2023. WWE is able to add injury time to the deal, which they’d actually done with Jeff Hardy before he re-signed.”

Hardy has been used more recently on WWE RAW after he was fairly inactive for a few weeks earlier this year. He last competed on the June 28 episode of WWE RAW, where he unsuccessfully competed in a battle royal to determine Randy Orton’s replacement in the Last Chance qualifying match for Money in the Bank.

Hardy is a three-time world champion with WWE, and he is a five-time Intercontinental Champion. Alongside his brother Matt, Jeff is a nine-time tag team champion with the company.
