Bea Priestley has arrived in NXT UK.
This week’s episode of NXT UK saw another new vignette for ‘Blair Davenport’, who had been teased as a new performer coming to the brand in the near future. The latest video finally confirmed Priestley as the woman behind the hooded figure, who said she’s now in the greatest women’s division in the world.
Speaking directly to the camera, Davenport said:
“I have wrestled all around the world. I have sacrificed everything to get to where I am today. I have given up friends, I’ve given up family to master what I do. Did you really think I wouldn’t end up a part of the greatest women’s division of Earth?”
She then took her hood off and looked at the camera, stating “Blair Davenport has arrived in NXT UK.”
Bea Priestley’s NXT debut had been rumored for several weeks and she has spent the past two years working for Stardom (Japan). Priestley signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019, but the pandemic prevented her from appearing domestically for most of the past year. As a result, she only worked one match in March of last year and was ultimately released by AEW in August 2020.
Priestley has held several titles in Stardom; she is also a former World Of Sport Women’s Champion and a two-time Defiant Women’s Champion.
