Drew McIntyre Pins Riddle, Qualifies For Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, and Matt Riddle competed in a triple threat match to close out WWE RAW on Monday. The winner of this bout would earn a spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. In an intense contest, McIntyre emerged victorious, so he will have yet another chance to fight for a title shot.

During the match, Riddle – who stepped into the match after winning the qualifying battle royal earlier in the show –  seemed to have his night end early for him. When he tried to kick Styles outside of the ring, he missed and kicked the steel stairs instead. “The Original Bro” was escorted to the back, leaving McIntyre and Styles alone to brawl with each other. The two former WWE Champions waged war, as both men were desperate to punch their ticket to Money in the Bank.

After Styles fliped McIntyre around and trapped him in a submission, it looked like “The Scottish Warrior” would tap out. But Riddle suddenly appeared at the top of the ramp and began hobbling down to the ring with his foot taped up. After he slid into the ring, Riddle began trading submission attempts with the trio before McIntyre was sent out of the ring.

As Styles aimed to end the bout with a Phenomenal Forearm attempt on Riddle,”The Original Bro” countered with an emphatic knee. He then dropped Styles with the RKO, but before the referee could count to three, Omos pulled Styles out of the ring. As a result, McIntyre had enough time to get back into the ring and blast an unsuspecting Riddle with things with a Claymore for the victory.
