It has certainly been an interesting week for All Elite Wrestling’s “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela. The AEW talent showed up at the Seminole County School Board meeting on Tuesday night in Lake Mary, Florida, to rib former WWE NXT referee Drake Wuertz.
Portraying a character that Joey Janela refers to as ‘Florida Man’ interrupted a speaker during the board meeting making a scene and was kicked out by security in the process. Despite being a gag, some people took it as a legitimate outburst, and Janela even made the local news for walking out of the meeting.
Joey Janela capitalized on the attention by auctioning off the ‘Florida Man’ costume on social media for $500 and donated the money to NARAL Pro-Choice America.
