Fighting for a world championship in a major professional wrestling company is something every little kid dreams of, and Jungle Boy is no exception.
The AEW star earned a championship opportunity by winning the Casino Battle Royale at last month’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view. Jungle Boy recently appeared on Busted Open Radio to discuss this upcoming title match against AEW World Champion Kenny Omega. He explained that he wants to make the most of this special opportunity.
“Ya know for me, with Kenny Omega, he’s someone I’ve watched for a long time and he’s someone I looked up to,” said Jungle Boy. “So, now for it to be my chance to get in there with him and for us to do our thing, it’s a big opportunity and it’s something I’ve been waiting for, for a long time. And I definitely want to make the most of it while I have the chance.”
He also discussed the return of fans, working with Christian Cage and getting advice from veterans like Paul Wight and Mark Henry.
