Charlotte Flair says another Evolution event might be on the horizon, but she doesn’t ‘need’ an all-women’s show to prove she’s the best wrestler around.

Chatter about the next ‘Evolution’ has been going ever since Mickie James and the National Wrestling Alliance announced that they will host an all-women’s pay-per-view in August. There has been increased pressure put upon WWE by wrestling fans for them to hold another all-women’s show sooner rather than later, and while Charlotte Flair is the latest to chime in on the subject, her opinion may surprise some people.

Charlotte Flair spoke to Graham Matthews of Bleacher Report about a variety of subjects, and when the idea of WWE having another all-women’s show in the future came up, Flair had a lot to say:

“I think [another Evolution is] more of a when [than an if], but I get asked this question a lot,” Charlotte said. “Would an all-women’s show be great? Yes. Would another all-women’s pay-per-view be great? Yes. But I’m in the mindset that I want to be on the card with men. I want to be on the card where there’s eight matches and I want to be the best of the night no matter the gender. I don’t need an all-women’s show or an all-women’s pay-per-view to highlight my performance or skill or being a lady wrestler. No. I want to prove, no matter man or woman, I am the best. I think it’s great, but I don’t need an all-women’s show to show I’m a great wrestler.”

During the NXT TakeOver: In Your House media call, Triple H stated that the best women’s wrestlers were in WWE, and if they weren’t…they want to be. Charlotte Flair had the following to say in response to Triple H’s comments:

“Any promotion, any female star, anyone should say they are the best,” Charlotte said. “You should not be in this business unless you’re saying you’re the best. Wherever you are in the world you should say you’re the best.”
