Number One Contenders Match: Johnny Gargano vs. Pete Dunne vs. Kyle O’Reilly
As soon as the bell rings everyone starts to brawl. Gargano is tossed out of the ring. Dunne blasts O’Reilly with a stiff elbow strike. Dunne tries to work over O’Reilly’s arm but O’Reilly turns it into an arm back. Gargano tries to break it up but ends up in a kneebar. Dunne breaks that up and launches O’Reilly out of the ring. Gargano hits a ranna but Dunne avoids his hip toss right after. Dunne tries to set up a surfboard but O’Reilly breaks it up with a kick to Dunne’s head. O’Reilly lands an armDT on Gargano. Dunne trapsO’Reilly and Gargano in a finger breaker. Dunne stomps on Gargano and O’Reilly’s hands. O’Reilly dragon screws Gargano and Dunne at the same time.
After the break, Gargano lands a flurry of kicks to Gargano. O’Reilly butterfly suplexes Dunne. O’Reilly then butterfly suplexes Gargano onto Dunne. Dunne kicks out. Dunne and O’Reilly fight to the outside. O’Reilly hits a running knee off the apron. Gargano surprises O’Reilly with a suicide dive. Gargano proceeds to lands a dive to Dunne and another to O’Reilly. Gargano slingshot spears O’Reilly for a near fall. Gargano and O’Reilly struggle to take the other over with a backslide. Dunne sweeps their legs and lands a double head kick. Dunne lands the X-Plex on O’Reilly. O’Reilly kicks out. Dunne traps O’Reilly in a double wrist lock. Gargano breaks it up with a clothesline.
O’Reilly counters Gargano’s roll through kick with a kneebar. Dunne drops a knee on O’Reilly’s arm. Dunne tries the Bitter End but Gargano reverses it into a DDT. Dunne and Gargano trade strikes. Everyone trades strikes. Gargano floors Dunne and O’Reilly with a double clothesline. O’Reilly turns Gargano’s spear into a guillotine. Dunne grabs O’Reilly from behind and locks in a rear-naked choke. O’Reilly is sent flying out the ring by a ranna by Gargano. Gargano locks Dunne in the Gargano escape. Dunne breaks Garagano’s fingers and hits the Bitter End. O’Reilly breaks up the pin with a King Kong Knee Drop. Dunne and O’Reilly fight outside the ring.
Adam Cole runs to ringside and hits O’Reilly and Dunne with a chair. Gargano tries a dive but Cole hits him in the head with a chair as he sails through the air. Cole hits a brainbuster out on the floor. Cole catches O’Reilly with a shining wizard. Cole rolls in the ring and kicks Gargano in the head. Commissioner Regal walks to the ring with security.
