New Japan Pro Wrestling aired a free edition of Road To Dominion on Tuesday. The show was headlined by Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. regaining the IWGP Tag Team Titles that they lost at Wrestle Kingdom, as well as the return of their manager Miho Abe. The nearly-30min bout with Guerrillas of Destiny seemed to put a cap on the 6-month feud between the two teams.
After the bout, Zack Sabre Jr. pointed out that Weezer has released two albums in the time it took Dangerous Tekkers to regain the belts, and “nobody even wants ONE Weezer album.” The win was an emotional one for Sabre’s partner Taichi, who recently recovered from a positive COVID infection.
After the match, Zack Sabre Jr. dropped an open challenge to any team in the country of Japan, name dropping All Japan Pro Wrestling in the process.

Elsewhere on the card, Jeff Cobb & Great-O-Khan continued their dominant streak, as they bested Kota Ibushi and Young Lion Yota Tsuji. Also El Desperado got Suzuki-gun the win in tag action, ahead of his Jr. Heavyweight Title defense on June 7th.
