Sting Returns To The Ring, Pins Scorpio Sky In Tag Match At AEW Double Or Nothing

For the first time since 2014, Sting wrestled in a ring.

“The Icon” teamed up with Darby Allin to face Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky at AEW Double or Nothing.

Right away, it was clear that Sting still had it. He bounced back to his feet after Sky suplexed him on the stage. Then, the WWE Hall of Famer dove off the set onto Page and Sky.

Allin showcased his daredevil attitude with a dive to the outside before the bell rang, but Page and Sky isolated the former TNT Champion to gain the upper hand. Later in the match, Page threw Allin from the ring and sent him crashing into the crowd. Allin narrowly avoided a countloss loss, and he managed to tag Sting.

“The Icon” came in fresh off the hot tag and nearly pinned Page with the Code Red. But a cheap shot from Sky helped Page ground Stingand slam Allin onto his partner. The match was at a stalemate when Sting trapped Page in the Scorpion Death Lock while Sky locked Allin in a heel hook.

Sting kept fighting, and he planted Sky with a Scorpion Death Drop for the win.
