In a WrestleMania 37 rematch, Big E and Apollo Crews took to the ring tonight to once again battle it out for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. History echoed itself, as Crews’ right-hand man, Commander Azeez helped his leader walk away with the title in his grasp.

The rematch between the two bitter rivals was brutal from the very start, as both superstars clubbed each other with impactful blows. Later in the match, Big E was on the verge of victory when he escaped an Olympic slam and hit Crews with the Big Ending. But at this point, Azeez promptly cost the former champion the match.

Azeez pulled Big E out of the ring while he was pinning Crews. The massive man then threw Big E into the ring post, forcing the referee to end the match via disqualification. As a result, Crews retained the title.

After the match, Azeez continued his assault on Big E until Kevin Owens came to the challenger’s rescue. Unfortunately for Owens, Sami Zayn also came running down, and he dropped Owens with a Helluva Kick. Zayn then picked up the title and handed it back to Crews. Of course, Zayn wasn’t spared from Azeez’s wrath, as he also caught a Nigerian Nail for his efforts.
