Following a tumultuous evening, WWE has shaken up its office structure.

Following the tweet from Mickie James revealing WWE sent her belongings in a trash bag, and the subsequent announcing that that person responsible for that had been fired, several reports indicate Mark Carrano, the former Head of Talent Relations has been fired. A report from Fightful Select noted John Laurinaitis, who took over most of Carrano’s duties, had been singling out Carrano out as the person responsible.

Additionally, Fightful notes that Joe Villa, WWE’s Manager of Publicity and Corporate Communications for nearly a decade has been let go. Fightful also confirmed Dan Engler, a referee on Monday Night Raw, has departed his role as a Senior Manager in the Talent Relations Department as of Tuesday, April 20, 2021.  Engler will stay on as a referee.

PWInsider reported a similar circumstance for John Cone. Cone is no longer working in the Talent Relations Department as a Senior Manager. Much like Engler, Cone will continue with WWE as a referee. PWInsider also notes Nicole Zeoli, WWE’s Director of Talent Relations for the last three years and a 12-year employee of WWE is no longer with the company.

WrestleZone will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates.
