Braun Strowman Wins Steel Cage Match, Asks Shane McMahon Who Is Stupid Now

Shane McMahon got exactly what he wished for as he faced Braun Strowman in a steel cage match at WrestleMania 37.

McMahon got an advantage early on by having Elias and Jaxson Ryker attack Strowman’s legs with a steel chair. “Shane O’Mac” would brutalize Strowman with a number of chair shots and then ripped a steel plate off the cage and used that to assault his opponent. McMahon attempted to escape once Strowman got back to his feet, but Strowman threw him across the ring and into the wall.

McMahon would hit a jumping DDT to get back into the match. He then climbed to the top rope and went coast to coast with a huge dropkick for a two count. Shane almost got to the top of the cage and was about to escape with help from Elias & Ryker but Braun tackled the wall, which caused McMahon to fall down. Strowman would then grab McMahon at the top of the steel structure, where a toolbox was stashed, which allowed McMahon to smash it into Strowman’s head.

McMahon celebrated and slowly climbed down the cage while celebrating. He would wave goodbye to Strowman, but Strowman grabbed his hand and then tore down the cage structure to drag McMahon back inside. With an exit now clear, Strowman threw McMahon to the top of the cage and then climbed up himself. Strowman lifted McMahon and then threw him inside the ring while screaming, “Who is stupid now?” However, rather than escape, Strowman wanted to inflict more punishment and landed a running powerslam for the win.
