Dexter Lumis and Austin Theory have an extremely long history, and during tonight’s episode of NXT, Theory stepped back into the ring against his former kidnapper in an attempt to come out on top in honor of The Gargano Way.
Unfortunately for Theory, things didn’t go well for him, and no one was around to help him. During the match, Theory tried to get over his past problems with Lumis, and even looked ready to come away with a win. However, Theory began yelling about how Lumis was wrong about everything and how he was going to show him the way, but Lumis was able to counter things into a nasty submission, which knocked Theory out and gave Lumis the win.
