Keith Lee Pulled From WWE Elimination Chamber (Updated)

Keith Lee has been reportedly pulled from WWE Elimination Chamber.

A report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider states that Lee will not compete in the United States Championship Match he had been advertised to appear in. Lee had been set to face Riddle and Bobby Lashley for the title.

Johnson notes that the backstage belief is that Lee is suffering from some type of injury, but that is not confirmed to be the case.

Throughout the week leading up to the show, rumors had been circulating that Lee would not be medically cleared for Sunday night’s show.

In another article, Johnson reported that Lee’s replacement will be determined on WWE Elimination Chamber Kickoff. The pre-show will feature a Battle Royal, and the winner will face Riddle Lashley on the main show.

Update: WWE later confirmed Lee’s absence. In a Tweet, the company stated that Lee was injured due to an attack from Lashley. The same tweet revealed that Mustafa Ali, John Morrison, Ricochet and Elias will clash to determine Lee’s replacement.

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
