According to a new report, WWE NXT UK is building its female roster with the latest signing of Millie McKenzie.
As first reported by Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT, Millie McKenzie has signed with WWE to be a part of the growing NXT UK brand. McKenzie, who will be featured this Saturday at PROGRESS Chapter 104, played a role in the Speaking Out movement where she highlighted that she was involved in an abusive relationship with former NXT UK star Travis Banks.
According to the report, it is believed that Travis being signed with NXT UK was a major reason that Millie chose not to sign sooner. Now that WWE has released Banks and others outside by the movement, McKenzie felt more comfortable going to work for the WWE.
WWE reportedly has high hopes for Millie McKenzie. She is slated to be plugged into the top of the card along with another recent signee, Meiko Satomura.
WWE has been making many signings recently in both America and the United Kingdom. Ben Carter, Rampage Brown, and others have recently joined the NXT UK brand. Meanwhile over in America, WWE has signed the former Eli Drake and has reportedly signed Taya Valkyrie and Harlem Bravado as well.
PROGRESS Chapter 104 will stream this Saturday live on WWE Network beginning at 3 p.m. eastern time.
WrestleZone will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates.
