Satomura faced off against Isla Dawn during today’s NXT UK show. While Dawn was game as an opponent, the veteran wasn’t about to lose her NXT UK debut. Satomura eventually hit a Scorpio Rising for the win. NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray was watching the bout and was promptly called out by the promotional newcomer.

An accomplished Japanese wrestler, Satomura has previously wrestled for WWE in the 2018 Mae Young Classic, where she lost to Toni Storm in the semifinals. Prior to signing with NXT UK, Satomura won world titles with Progress Wrestling, Fight Club: PRO, Gaea Japan and World Wonder Ring Stardom.
