Top guys out — of the battle royal, that is. FTR won’t be having their Beach Break because they’re suspended.
All Elite Wrestling announced that “upon review of their conduct after the Jungle Boy v. Dax Harwood match” FTR has been suspended from competition for one week, confirming they are no longer eligible for the Beach Break Tag Team Battle Royale. FTR are being replaced by The Dark Order’s John Silver & Alex Reynolds in the match.
TOMORROW night at 8pm ET/7pm CT!
Dax Harwood issued the following response in regards to the suspension:
It was stupid that we had to fight in this thing to win our shot at the AEW World Tag Team belts in the first place. But calling this decision “stupid” is an insult to all the dumbasses around the world.
The current lineup for the Battle Royal includes:

- Private Party
- Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy)
- Young Bucks
- Chris Jericho & MJF
- Sammy / Hager
- Santana & Ortiz
- The Acclaimed
- The Dark Order’s John Silver & Alex Reynolds
- The Dark Order’s Stu Grayson & Evil Uno
Last week’s episode of Dynamite saw Jungle Boy beat Harwood via submission, but FTR ended up attacking Jungle express after the bell. Tully Blanchard used pocket sand to blind his adversaries, and Luchasaurus’ horns were cut off of his mask.
We can understand being frustrated about losing a match (or maybe it was excitement over a new follower), but FTR’s heinous actions are definitely not something Topanga would ever approve of.
