SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Carmella w/Reginald
As soon as the bell rings Banks almost locks in the Bank Statement. Carmella rolls out of the ring. Carmella trash talks Banks before rolling back in. Banks takes down Carmella again. Banks lands a springboard arm drag. Banks slaps Carmella in the face. Banks tries the same move again but Carmella sends Banks to the apron. Reginald gets on the apron. Banks trips him and hit falls to the floor. Carmella leaps off Reginald’s back and clothesline Banks into the announce desk. Carmella gets a near fall. Carmella unloads on Banks in the corner with elbow strikes. Carmella locks Banks in a rope-hang triangle. Carmella breaks it at the four-count. Carmella continues working over Banks. Banks fires up and hits a double knee strike in the corner. Banks hits two of the three amigos.
Carmella puts on the breaks. Carmella tosses banks out of the ring. Reginald catches Banks. Banks takes Reginald over with head-scissors. The referee ejects Reginald from ringside. Carmella surprises Banks with a suicide dive, but Carmella lands awkwardly. Carmella argues with the referee. Banks hits a suplex then goes up top. Banks tries a frog splash but Carmella gets her knees up. Carmella puts Banks in the Code of Silence. Banks escapes and blasts Carmella with a sliding knee. Banks dives off the top into a superkick by Carmella. Carmella immediately hits a basement superkick. Banks kicks out. Carmella screams in frustration. Carmella tries to pick up Banks but Banks rolls her into the Bank Statement. Carmella taps out.
Winner and STILL SmackDown Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks!
Backstage, Big E hypes up Xavier Woods for the Rumble Match. Sami Zayn walks in and complains about Big E being IC Champion. Kofi Kingston pops up behind Zayn and scares him. Woods tells Zayn to hit the bricks. Kingston says he isn’t cleared to wrestle but he had to come anyway. When one of them wins the Rumble, they all win.
