Wrestling fans made major note of Ben Carter’s talent when he first appeared on AEW Dark, but the now-NXT UK star had more than just eyes on him at the time when it came to WWE.
It was not long after his strong AEW Dark performance in September against Ricky Starks when Carter revealed that he signed a contract with WWE. After the buzz of that bout, plenty of folks made the assumption that Carter was offered the paper and pen from Stamford post-rendezvous with Ricky, but 22-year-old Carter just clarified it all for us on Twitter.
