Via a video message, Drew McIntyre says he is still asymptomatic and feeling stronger than ever. McIntyre says he respect Goldberg and he knows he can lose everything after a spear and a jackhammer. McIntyre wants Goldberg to be his best when they meet at the Rumble. McIntyre says he will be on RAW next week and he hops Goldberg will be there.
Jeff Hardy vs. Ryker
Hardy lands the Twist of Fate. Hardy goes up for the Swanton but Elias pushes him off the top rope to cause a DQ.
Winner- Jeff Hardy
After the match, Ryker yells at Elias because he told him he didn’t want his help tonight. Elias says he meant not to “help him” as in he wanted him to. Ryker says no. Hardy dropkicks Elias. Ryker slams Hardy.
Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss
Bliss and Asuka trade armbars and headlocks. Asuka lands a series of strikes before a pop-up knee. Bliss sits up and eats a shining wizard. Bliss kicks out. Asuka works an armbar with a crossface. Bliss gets to the ropes. The lights in the arena go out as Bliss smiles and stares at the ceiling. After the break, when the lights come back up Bliss’ makeup and hair is different. Bliss slowly paces in the ring. Asuka misses a spinning back fist. Bliss easily blocks Asuka’s strikes.
Bliss floor Asuka with a shoulder block. Asuka knocks Bliss into the corner. Bliss does Bray Wyatt’s corner taunt, which rattles Asuka. Bliss tries the Mandible Claw. Asuka avoids it. Bliss decks Asuka. Asuka kicks out. Bliss paces in front of Asuka. Asuka looks frightened. Bliss cradles Asuka’s face. Asuka screams and lands a nasty series of head kicks. Bliss pops back up and hits Sister Abigail for the win.
Winner- Alexa Bliss
The screen flashes and Bliss’ hair and makeup are back to normal. Bliss mouths let me in as Wyatt’s voice echos through the arena.
