Fans excited to see Thunder Rosa take on Britt Baker next week on AEW Dynamite will have to wait as the match is postponed, but for good reason.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rosa happened to come in contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19 so therefore, she was held off the tapings for this week. He does note that the match will happen at some point, but no date is given. A replacement match was announced on Dynamite this week as it will be Serena Deeb defending her NWA Women’s Worlds Championship against Tay Conti. The Rosa vs. Baker match removal also opened up the opportunity for Britt to have her “Waiting Room” segment debut on Dynamite next Wednesday. That segment has since had a steady presence on AEW Dark.

Rosa has been feuding with Baker ever since Britt became involved in Rosa’s NWA Title rematch against Deeb and the two have been attacking one another during promos and post-match scuffles. Baker’s accomplice, Rebel (or “Reba” as she’s known by the good doctor) has gotten involved in tormenting Rosa.
