The show opens with a recap of ROH Final Battle 2020. Quinn McKay welcomes viewers and previews the show. She recaps how the COVID-19 disrupted Ring of Honor’s planned shows in March 2020. She recaps how ROH handled the pandemic with its weekly programming.

In a video message, Matt Taven says he wanted to wrestle at the cancelled events. He recaps how he first heard about COVID-19 and says he can remember being worried about the onset of the pandemic. Taven says the front office reassured the roster that they would be okay.

In another video, Flip Gordon calls 2020 a crazy year. He recaps how he learned that ROH’s shows were going to be cancelled. Gordon says he still wrestled at the first empty arena show for ROH, and he calls Bandido one of his favorite opponents. He compliments ROH’s success at handling the pandemic.

Gordon takes Bandido to the mat, but the competitors exchange technical holds. The match is a stalemate, as both men exchange fast-paced offensive maneuvers. Bandido hits a diving crossbody and a hurricanrana. Gordon traps Bandido in the apron and hits him with some clubbing blows. “The Mercenary” throws Bandido into the ringside barricade. Gordon continues to dominate, and he grounds Bandido. The fan-favorite star rallies and hits a corkscrew dive. He blasts Gordon with a superkick.

Gordon hits an athletic kick and floors Bandido with a kick to the head. Bandido hits a pump kick, but Gordon drops him with a springboard Spear. He hits a Flip-5 (F5) for the win.

Winner: Flip Gordon

In a video message, Cheeseburger, Beer City Bruiser and Session Moth Martina discuss their experiences with the cancelled shows back in March. Martina describes her difficulties with travelling internationally during the pandemic. Cheeseburger says he found out the shows were called off when they landed at the airport. Bruiser says his phone blew up, as he was shocked to learn about the cancellations.

Martina describes how everything was so uncertain, but several members of the ROH roster still competed in an empty arena match. Bruiser says it felt so weird to compete without the fans, and he states that ROH has been amazing in the way it has handled the pandemic. Martina says she’s very excited to come back as soon as possible.
