New Japan Pro-Wrestling Set To Announce New TV Deal In The United States, UK

New Japan Pro-Wrestling will return to television in the United States and United Kingdom “soon”, and we now know that soon is imminent.

According to a commercial that ran during Wrestle Kingdom 15, New Japan Pro-Wrestling confirmed they would be returning to television in the United States and United Kingdom “soon.” Shortly after the announcement, F4WOnline.com‘s Dave Meltzer confirmed that NJPW is so close to an English-language television deal that an announcement could come at any time.

NJPW previously aired in the United States on AXS TV, broadcasting NJPW content until 2019, when that relationship ended after IMPACT Wrestling parent company Anthem Sports and Entertainment bought the network. Despite no longer airing on English-language broadcast networks, New Japan still maintains a new offshoot called NJPW of America, and they also have weekly wrestling show called Strong that airs on the New Japan World app.
