IMPACT Wrestling Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo recently appeared on Sitting Ringside, David Penzer’s podcast. In the interview, she discussed the cooperation between IMPACT Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling. “The Virtuosa” stated that she wants to face AEW stars Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D and Hikaru Shida at IMPACT Hard To Kill.
“[I want to face] the role model, the face of their women’s division. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D is my best friend. She’s one of my best friends,” said Purrazzo. “I would love to wrestle Britt at Hard To Kill, I would love to wrestle [Hiraru] Shida at Hard To Kill. But as far as our IMPACT roster goes, my number one right now because we’ve had some interactions is Taya Valkyrie. Because she’s the longest-reigning Knockouts Champion of all time,” and I’m over it. So I would like to defeat her, break her arm, maybe piledrive her and shut her up for a little bit. So definitely Taya, [and] a rematch with Rosemary would be great.”
Purrazzo also discussed how she’s thriving in the spotlight in IMPACT Wrestling.
“I feel like my aspirations are coming true at IMPACT, and you know, not only have I been a one-time Knockouts Champion, but now I’ve been a two-time Knockouts Champion. Not only did I wrestle live on my first pay-per-view at Slammiversary, but now I got to do it at Bound For Glory, the biggest event of our year, I defended my Knockouts Championship. I get to do it again at Hard To Kill. Every time I step in the ring with IMPACT, I’m growing and I’m learning about myself, and that’s the biggest part. This is all I ever wanted to do, and I get to do it every night.”
