ROH Wrestling Results (12/14/20): PCO And Mark Briscoe vs. The Bouncers

Backstage, McKay interviews Briscoe and PCO. Briscoe says he and PCO will defeat The Foundation and win the ROH World Tag Team Championship at ROH Final Battle.

A video package hypes up the entire card for ROH Final Battle.

In a pre-match promo, Flip Gordon looks back on his background as an amateur wrestler and his road to Ring of Honor. Gordon says he loves to fly high in the ring, but he wants to focus on his skills as a grappler. He says he didn’t want to miss out on the buzz surrounding the ROH Pure Championship. He admits that Josh Woods has a lot of momentum on his side, but he’s more ready than he’s ever been.

Meanwhile, Woods says beating Jay Lethal felt incredible. He says he’s been climbing up the rankings, and he calls Gordon an obstacle in his quest to face Gresham for the title. He points out that Gordon’s name is literally Flip, so he doesn’t belong in a Pure Rules Match. Woods vows to be the next ROH Pure Champion.

Pure Rules: Flip Gordon vs. Josh Woods

Woods gains the upper hand early on and quickly makes Gordon use his first rope break. The competitors exchange technical holds. Gordon dives onto Woods outside the ring.

Gordon grounds Woods and drapes him over the ropes before he drops him with a springboard kick. Woods rallies with a knee and some clotheslines. He suplexes Gordon across the ring. Woods hits a superplex, and both men are down.

Woods plants Gordon with a gutwrench powerbomb. Gordon hits a spinning kick to the head and a moonsault for a two count. Gordon earns the pinfall victory with a stomp.

Winner: Flip Gordon
