Ring Of Honor had a wrench thrown in their plans for next weekend’s Final Battle pay-per-view, but they are keeping a tight lid on the updated match card until the day of the show.
According to a new report by PWInsider.com, ROH will not announce the changes to the match card until the night of the Final Battle broadcast on pay-per-view on December 18. It was noted that the current plan is to reveal the changes during the free-to-watch portion of the show during the first hour of the event.
The free hour can be viewed on Facebook, YouTube, ROH Best On The Planet and STIRR, while fans that ordered the event on pay-per-view, FITE and HonorClub will see it as part of their PPV broadcast.
Yesterday, Bandido, EC3, Flamita and Kenny King were pulled from the event due to failing pre-travel COVID-19 testing protocols. PWInsider also noted that Ring of Honor talents are required to do a self-test during a virtual health screening and submit samples to a lab. Once they pass those tests and arrive at the ROH hotel, they isolate in their hotel room and undergo a number of additional tests before and after tapings.

EC3 was originally scheduled to face Jay Briscoe in a grudge match, and Flamita and Bandido were pulled from their ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship title defense against Shane Taylor & The Soldiers of Savagery.
