Madison Rayne Reportedly Leaving Commentary Booth At IMPACT Wrestling

Madison Rayne looks to be finishing up with her color commentary role at IMPACT.

Dave Meltzer is reporting in his latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Rayne will be leaving the booth here in the near future as IMPACT is in search for a new person to fill the role of the Ventura to Josh Mathews’ Monsoon (it should be noted that unlike Mathews and Rayne, Gorilla and Jesse were never married). Mathews will, however, remain in the lead commentator role.

Rayne teased a brief one-week sabbatical as she served as Johnny Swinger’s defending attorney in The Wrestlers’ Court and was replaced by Matt Striker on commentary. Rayne also happened to compete in tag action with Tenille Dashwood a few weeks back. Their alliance was short lived as they lost to Havok and Nevaeh. That partnership blossomed the week before on her Locker Room Talk segment featuring Tenille, Jordynne Grace and the ever-present Johnny Swinger.
