The entire SmackDown roster is on the stage for a 10 bell salute for Pat Patterson, who passed away this week.
In-Ring Segment: Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Paul Heyman
Kayla Braxton is in the ring for the interview. Reigns tells Braxton that she didn’t introduce him properly, so Heyman does it for her. Braxton asks Reigns what happened last week. a video package airs that details Reigns dressing down Uso for losing at Survivor Series, Uso’s subsequent attack on Otis, Daniel Bryan, and the beatdown he suffered at the hands of Kevin Owens. Braxton asks Reigns if he fears Owens. Reigns says this is the biggest interview and moment of Braxton’s career and she blows it on a stupid question. Reigns quips that Michael Cole should be doing this interview. Braxton switches gears and asks Reigns if he is manipulating his cousin Uso. Reigns poops all over Braxton for asking another dumb question. Reigns notes that Heyman went to bat for Braxton and this is how she wastes her opportunity. Reigns tells Heyman to take over.
Heyman starts to speak but Owens interrupts. Owens says if they don’t fear each other they should be able to just talk now. Owens doesn’t want to wait until later tonight he wants Reigns now. Uso grabs the mic and says they are about that action. Heyman groans and Reigns looks annoyed. Owens challenges Reigns to a TLC match at the TLC PPV for the Universal Championship. Owens adds that they could just do it right now, too. Reigns says doing that would help Owens career. Reigns accepts Owens’ challenge for a title match at TLC. If Reigns was the man he used to be he would whoop Owens’ ass right now. Reigns says he’s a gentleman and there is a lady in the ring. Reigns tells Owens to grow up. Reigns and Co leave the ring. Owens grabs a mic and says he will grow up. when Reigns grows some balls. It’s clear to everyone that Reigns is just a b*tch.
