During tonight’s episode of NXT, Timothy Thatcher and Tommaso Ciampa continued their brewing rivalry, as the two went at it during another one of Thatcher’s NXT segments, leading into a big match at NXT TakeOver: WarGames.
Thatcher’s segment was all about distractions, and while he spoke, Ciampa appeared in the ring, telling Thatcher he was going to teach him something. It was then that the two got into a brawl, which ended with Thatcher and his trainee beating down Ciampa and Thatcher knocking out Ciampa with a front face lock. Later in the show, it was confirmed that the two would be facing at WarGames, where Ciampa will no doubt look to end their rivalry with a big win.
