At WWE Survivor Series, Seth Rollins did not wrestle. He merely sacrificed himself so that Team RAW got an advantage over Team SmackDown. Now, according to the reports, this may be the last we see of “The Messiah” for a while.

According to a report by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rollins was written off television at WWE Survivor Series. Rollins’ wife, Becky Lynch, is scheduled to give birth in December and Rollins will be taking time away from WWE for paternity leave.

Becky Lynch announced she was pregnant on the Monday Night RAW after Money in the Bank when she forfeited the WWE RAW Women’s Championship to Asuka. Lynch & Rollins recently appeared in a pregnancy photoshoot on Instagram which you can check out at this link.

Seth Rollins started “The Messiah” character following last year’s Survivor Series, this past year was very character-driven for the former WWE Champion. In the past 12 months, he has had the likes of Austin Theory, Buddy Murphy, and the now-released AOP in his stable. The majority of his 2020 has been spent facing Rey Mysterio and his family, allowing Dominik Mysterio to have main event matches early on in his career and even taking the eyeball of Rey Mysterio out of his head at WWE Extreme Rules.

It remains to be seen whether or not he will have a send-off of Another Kind before officially going on paternity leave or if the last we see of Seth Rollins for the foreseeable future was when he received a Brogue Kick from Sheamus at this past Sunday’s pay-per-view.
