New Japan Pro Wrestling continued World Tag League on Monday. The second night of the tournament saw young lions Yota Tsuji & Gabriel Kidd open up the show with a blistering singles bout.
Next up Guerrillas of Destiny went up against their Bullet Club brethren in a match where the Tongans pulled no punches with their opponents, and debuting a new submission finish to send a message to their next opponents, EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi. Plus The Empire ate a humbling defeat, as did last year’s Tag League winners, FinJuice.
SANADA earned a measure of revenge against Toru Yano for his G1 loss by out-sneaking the king of sneaking, when LIJ picked up a needed two points. The main event saw Toa Henare & Hiroshi Tanahashi take the IWGP Tag Team Champions to their limits, but Sabre & Taichi still managed to get the win.
