It may be an arbitrary number to some, but 205 Live’s 205th episode is worth celebrating to big fans of WWE’s cruiserweight spotlight and those with OCD. WWE is pulling out all the stops by presenting a #1 Contender’s Fatal 5-Way Match in the main event this week.

It will be Curt Stallion, August Grey, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, Tony Nese, and Ariya Daivari all vying for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship currently held by Santos Escobar. Both Curt Stallion and August Grey are new recruits to the purple brand who have proven their worth in recent weeks, while Nese and Daivari have been holding down the fort for years. However, after his interference at NXT TakeOver 31, perhaps it’s Ashante “Thee” Adonis’ time to shine against Escobar.
Either way, it should be an exciting match up to celebrating 205 Live’s continued existence as one of the best proving grounds for new talents on their way to RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. 205 Live airs every week at 10 PM EST on WWE Network, right after SmackDown.
