Update On AEW Full Gear Tickets
The Wrestling Observer recently gave an update on how ticket sales are going for AEW’s Full Gear PPV. The latest report indicates that AEW still has over 80 tickets to sell for the event.
This is a surprise considering that only 950 tickets were made available to the general public. The likely reason is that fans are still hesitant to attend due to the rising COVID-19 count in Florida. It’s also reported to be a fairly complex process to invite anyone from outside your immediate family into your pod. Many fans simply don’t think all of this work is worth it.
Another speculated reason for the lack of sales is that the Jacksonville market is getting burned out with the high amount of wrestling shows. This is one of the reasons why other promotions are reluctant to ‘camp’ in cities while allowing fans because after a few shows, attendance dramatically decreases.
