New Japan Pro-Wrestling continued the G1 Climax on Sunday. The show was headlined by EVIL’s continued dominance over Tetsuya Naito in 2020. The King of Darkness took the Block lead and earned himself a title match later in the year with a win over the IWGP Double Champion.
Survival was the name of the game outside of the main event. Hirooki Goto kept his chances alive with a shockingly quick win over “The Ace” Hiroshi Tanahashi. Zack Sabre Jr. maintained his standing as well, with a vicious win over YOSHI-HASHI. SANADA closed out the 8-point club with a tough win over Juice Robinson.
