NXT Provides Injury Updates For Ridge Holland & Finn Balor

The wrestling world has been concerned for the in-ring well being of Ridge Holland since the rising star suffered a harsh injury during last night’s episode of NXT.

Today, NXT released it’s weekly video injury report via YouTube and host Matt Camp provided some upsetting updates on Ridge Holland’s status.

According to the report, Holland suffered a left knee ankle dislocation and as unfortunately evident, a left ankle fracture. In Ridge’s right knee, he suffered a patellar dislocation and ruptured patellar tendon. The dislocated knee was put back into place at ringside while the dislocated ankle was put back to place in the emergency room.

At the beginning of the report, Camp did note that NXT Champion Finn Balor is currently listed as medically unable to compete due to his jaw being broken in two separate places and also states that he’s on a strictly liquid diet for the time being.

Ridge Holland’s untimely injury occurred after his victory against Danny Burch. Holland aimed to exact more harm onto his fallen foe when Burch’s bud in Oney Lorcan came in for the save. Holland went to catch Lorcan on a dive onto the outside and his left ankle buckled. Holland was then stretchered out of The Capital Center and taken to the hospital, but not before he gave a thumbs up to the fans in attendance.

We here at WrestleZone want to wish both Holland and Balor both very speedy and healthy recoveries. You can see the full injury report below that also includes updates on Kyle O’Reilly and Dakota Kai.
