Injury Update On Jimmy Uso

While Jey Uso plans to take on Roman Reigns during this weekend’s Clash of Champions, his brother Jimmy continues to rehab from a knee injury that’s kept him sidelined for a bit. During a recent interview with talkSPORT, Jey Uso spoke about his brother, his injury, and what it means to have his family in his corner.

When asked about what Jimmy has been like during this recent singles run for Jey, he said that it’s been great, and that Jimmy has been supportive. He also gave us a bit of an update on his injury, hinting that Jimmy might be back by sometime early next year.

“Jimmy knows this is a big moment and he doesn’t want to take the light away from me, but he just wishes he could be in my corner,” he said (transcription via talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy). He just wants to walk with me, be in my corner, have the best seat in the house. He wants to bang on the apron, feel the intensity, the sweat dripping, all of that! But he’s loving it, uce. He’s rehabbing that knee and by January/February we’re going to get back Uso crazy.”

Should Jimmy return for January/February action, that would be a huge boost to WWE, as The Usos have always been one of the most electrifying and entertaining tag team duos. In the meantime, Jimmy will have to continue rehabbing and cheering on his brother, who has one of the biggest opportunities in his life ahead of him this week.
