IMPACT Wrestling Won’t Have Any Fans At Bound For Glory

During a media call today, IMPACT Wrestling confirmed that there won’t be any fans at its Bound For Glory pay-per-view, which is set to take place on Oct. 24, 2020.

“For me, it’s something I know as a professional and as an entertainer, we’re all craving it,” IMPACT Champion Eric Young said of the lack of fans. “I feel like we’ve done the work and the proof is in the pudding that we’re willing to put on a good product. There’s no doubt in my mind that the product suffers when there isn’t fans. Fans are part of the show, an important part. As a person that has been doing this a long time, it gives you an interesting perspective of how important they are. We won’t take for granted when people are back in the building … the reality is nothing is guaranteed and that is proof of that right now.”

Challenger Rich Swann said that all they can do is try to embrace the current era of wrestling and to give it 100 percent. “We will never take it for granted ever again when fans do come back,” Swann said.
