After AEW All Out last night, Hikaru Shida and her translator spoke to the media and WrestleZone’s own Bill Pritchard was able to ask the first question. Bill asked her how she prepped for Thunder Rosa and if she did so any differently than anyone else due to lack of familiarity.
Hikaru said, “I didn’t because she is the champion in Japan and I know she knows Japanese style well, so I didn’t. Just trying to hit hard and stay strong. That’s just my thinking.”
Later she was asked what her favorite part of working with AEW was and she said, “In Japan wrestling is not so big work. I am really happy because so many people watch my matches and I can reach all of the world.”
