Lance Archer Wins Casino Battle Royale, Matt Sydal Debuts In AEW

One of the biggest matches during tonight’s AEW All Out was a Casino Battle Royale that would see the winner coming away with an AEW World Championship. Despite the surprise appearance and AEW debut of Matt Sydal, though, it was Lance Archer who came away with the win, earning himself one of the biggest opportunities of his career in the process.

During the battle royale, Matt Sydal – who was confirmed to be the mystery entrant to the battle royale – came running down to the ring for his All Elite Wrestling debut. After slipping after going for a shooting star, Sydal began wreaking havoc on the other entrants but was eventually knocked out by Eddie Kingston late in the match. Down to just Kingston and Archer, it was Archer who sent Kingston out of the ring, ending things and locking himself into a shot at the world championship.

For a brief recap of the end of the match, check out below:

Archer downs Hobbs before he trades shots with Cage. Hard kicks by one another, Cage flips out of a chokeslam. Hobbs is on the apron. Cage joins him and Archer boots him them out!

ELIMINATED: Brian Cage & Will Hobbs

Down to Archer Butcher Sydal and Kingston. Sydal dumps Butcher. Archer hits a blackout on Sydal. Eddie plows Sydal out on the apron.

ELIMINATED: The Butcher & Matt Sydal

Jake introduces his bagged snake to Kingston and it freaks him a little. THis allows The Butcher and Blade to try to even it all but the power of Archer prevails and Eddie gets tossed by The Murderhawk.

ELIMINATED: Eddie Kingston
