Tony Khan has major plans for the FTW Championship and this may include AEW’s next TV show. Speaking on the media call prior to AEW All Out on Saturday, Tony Khan addressed recent criticisms of the ECW-legacy belt, revealing that AEW’s next show pilot will be built around the belt.

“That title will be treated totally differently than the other titles,” said. Tony. “I’m working on a pilot and it’s a different kind of a project than the way you see in wrestling titles defended traditionally. It’s very different from, obviously, how we used the World Heavyweight title and the TNT title. So the AEW World title and the TNT title, I think had been treated as very, very important titles. I really, really feel great about both those belts and their champions and the title and Brian Cage, I feel good about too, but we haven’t totally established yet. To be honest, our plans for the title, there’s a lot in store and I’m excited about it.”
FTW Champion, Brian Cage, will be part of the Casino Battle Royale on Saturday. WrestleZone will have live coverage beginning Saturday at 8 p.m.
